The focus of PUCCS is to get out in our community … get in front of kids, athletes, parents, coaches, and not only make them aware of concussion prevention but also how to recognize the signs of concussion. We do this through Health Fairs, school presentations, team meetings, and various community events. Head injury knowledge is so important! We talk to the community about identification, treatment, and the Return to Play Protocol, and provide handouts to take with them. We make sure that kids know that “It’s ok to not be ok” and that “It Only Takes One Hit.”
Join us before the Boys of Summer concert at the Quaker Arts Pavilion. We’ll have plenty of free, family-friendly events that will lead up to the Boys of Summer concert.
